QUADZILLA!!!! meets Bad Beat!!!!

Slam Bar is introducing two promotions

Quadzilla and Bad Beat Jackpots

Please note rules for these promotions may be different from similar promotions offered by various casino and others around the country.   This fact does not make our rules right and their respective rules wrong, rather each organization is free to promote its events the way it chooses. If you think any our rules are incorrect or don’t like the implementation, you are in entitled to your opinion, however, our rules will be used in determining qualifying hands and the winner, if any, of the promotion. No discussion will be entertained or tolerated regarding alternative theories of how the rules should or should not be applied.

On Thursdays and Saturdays – players will be eligible to win the Quadzilla jackpot based upon attendance and the prize pool building until awarded. See below for specific details.

On Fridays and Sundays – players will be eligible to win the Bad Beat Jackpot based upon the following qualifications:

The minimum qualifying hand for the losing hand in the Bad Beat jackpot shall be Aces full of Jacks beaten (AAAJJ) subject to the following rules.

  1. Qualifying hands must play both cards.

  1. Trip Aces on the board disqualifies the hand.

  1. Other trips do not automatically disqualify the hand.

For example: if hand 1 has KQ and hand 2 has 88 and the board is KKK88 then quad eights (8) lose to quad Kings (K) but the (Q) queen kicker plays so the hand qualifies, however if hand 1 has KQ and hand 2 has AA and the board is KKKAA, the hand does not qualify because the quad Kings plays the Ace on the board as a kicker not the Queen.

  1. Cards on the board play rather than a matching card in the hand.

Example 2: if hand 1 contains 7 & 8 of spades the board contains 9 10 J Q of spades and hand 2 contain AK of spades. The hand does not qualify for the bad beat jackpot because the 7 of spades does not play in the low end of the straight flush.

  1. Jackpot shares will be split according to the following:

·       When the bad beat jackpot is less than or equal to $100, the entire jackpot is awarded to the losing hand.

    • When the bad beat jackpot is greater than $100 and less than or equal to $200 the jackpot will be split 60% to the losing hand, 40% to the winning hand, all amount rounded down to whole dollars. For example: assume $101 in the jackpot and it is awarded, the split would be $60.00 to the losing hand and $40 to the winning hand. The remaining $1.00 would be re-seeded to the bad beat jackpot.

    • When the bad beat jackpot is greater than $200, the jackpot will be split according to the following: 1) the losing hand will receive 40% rounded down in whole dollars; 2) the winning hand will receive 30% rounded down in whole dollars; and 3) all those at the table without one of the two participating hands will receive a table shall calculated on a pro-rata basis of 30% of the prize pool divided by the number of table share individuals who received cards during the hand. Exception: if play is down to two players only; when the bad beat is hit; the losing hand will receive 55% of the jackpot and the winning will receive 45% of the jackpot.
